Exclusive: New data we publish this morning (Sunday) for the first time from the “CPA – assistance and listening on the Web”, the largest online service in Israel, provokes deep concern.
The ongoing security situation since October continues to deeply influence the mental state of many young people in Israel. Reference analysis shows that many young people report anxiety and uncertainty about the future, increased loneliness as a result of changes in life routine, and depression symptoms related to collective and personal trauma.
“The new data presents a worrying snapshot of the younger generation in Israel,” says Inbar Schnefeld, CEO of the Chairman’s Association.
Other alarming data indicate an increase in nighttime inquiries – there is a 25% increase in inquiries received from midnight to 5:00 am, which can indicate sleep and routine disorders. Of the references that were involved in receiving treatment, there was an increase of about 45% in reports of non -treatment. “This is already a trend that may indicate the deepening of the difficulty in the health care system, and the growing loads that make it difficult for applicants to receive the aid they need,” says Napad.
