Protein: It seems that the more you consume, the better, but there is also bad news

In an age where protein products have taken up entire shelves in the supermarket, from chocolates to pizzas, it seems that the more protein there is, the better. But is it possible that we even consume too much protein? And what happens when you pass the required amount?

When there is not enough protein in the menu, the body begins to break down muscle, energy levels decrease, the rate of metabolism is affected – and sometimes hair loss also occurs.

Fat does not “consume” protein, therefore a person who weighs 150 kg, but 80 kg of which is excess fat, does not need to eat according to 150 kg, but according to the weight he is supposed to aim for.

If he was Mr. World who weighs 150 kg of muscle only… then yes, he should calculate according to his weight, but the bottom line is that most of us should calculate the amount according to muscle mass, that is, on average according to ideal weight. This prevents excessive protein consumption and takes the load off the kidneys.
