The Ministry of Health is updating this evening (Thursday) that several measles patients were on the El Al flight from Chisinau to Tel Aviv on Tuesday, 11/18/25. It is about flight number 5128, which took off at 12:30 and landed in Israel at 15:00.
The Ministry of Health asks all passengers who were on the flight to make sure that they are vaccinated in accordance with the instructions. Those who are not vaccinated are asked to come to the health office in order to receive a vaccination.
Earlier it was reported that a measles patient stayed at the beginning of the week at the Shefa Berkat Hashem supermarket on Kahaneman Street in Bnei Brak. At the beginning of the week, a measles patient was reported to have happily attended the Keter Harimon hall in Bnei Brak.
Anyone who is not feeling well and/or shows symptoms suitable for measles is asked to avoid attending mass events, so as not to endanger their family members and their immediate environment. In addition, those exposed to a measles patient are required to continue testing and vaccinations in accordance with the guidelines and stay away from public places.
