In France, a verdict has been reached in the case of the death of an Israeli during penis enlargement surgery

Seven years after the death of an Israeli billionaire in the Paris aesthetic surgery clinic Saint-Honoré-Ponthieu during a penis enlargement operation, a verdict in this case has been pronounced in France.

Two plastic surgeons were found guilty of failure to provide patient care, dispensing medications without a prescription and drug offenses. The murder charges were dropped during the investigation. The doctors were sentenced to suspended imprisonment and paid a fine. They were also deprived of their license to practice medicine for life.

According to the case file, the operation during which the Israeli died took place on March 2, 2019. Around 8 p.m., the patient complained of chest pain. An ambulance was called, but the operation continued. The second time she was called two hours later, when the patient had a heart attack, which turned out to be fatal.

The court ruled that the cause of death was not the injection, but the abandonment of the person without the necessary care. The surgeon who performed the operation was sentenced to 15 months of suspended imprisonment and a fine of 50,000 euros, his assistant was sentenced to 12 months of suspended imprisonment and a fine of 20,000 euros.

The entrepreneur visited the clinic several times a year, the procedures he underwent cost tens of thousands of euros. Penis enlargement surgery, which has been practiced in various countries, including Israel, for about two decades, is based on fat injection.
