On February 16, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Lien, Head of the Department of Kidney, Urology and Andrology Surgery, Hospital E, said that the Tet duty team went on red alert and gave emergency treatment to his wife overnight.

Previously, the wife’s wound was treated at a private hospital in Viet Yen (Bac Ninh) and then transferred to Hospital E. Doctor Pham Quang Khai prescribed laparoscopy to explore the abdomen and treat the wound in the patient’s buttocks and perineum. The results showed that the wound in the perineal area was very large, but fortunately the patient did not damage the anus, vagina, or urethra, so the risk of wearing an artificial anus was avoided. On abdominal endoscopy, the patient did not have intestinal perforation.

The crew cuts and stitches the dirty wound caused by a buffalo gore to stop the bleeding. Currently, the patient is in critical condition.

The husband’s broken arm was treated urgently and did not require hospitalization.

Doctors recommend that people need to control animal slaughter during Tet. Avoid going near free-ranging cattle, or be careful when grazing to avoid unfortunate accidents.
