The National Center for Forensic Medicine has completed the identification of the bodies of Israelis killed on Sunday, March 1, as a result of a ballistic missile from Iran hitting the bomb shelter building in Beit Shemesh.
During the identification, various scientific methods were used to identify the dead as quickly and accurately as possible. “This is the most complex and severe incident we have encountered since the start of Operation Roar of the Lion, so identification efforts continued for several hours,” said Dr. Ricardo Nachman, head of the Forensic Clinical Research Unit.
