Rebecca Henrietta Johanna Baruch, was a lone soldier who immigrated to the Netherlands from Israel to enlist in the army. She first served a year of service at Kibbutz Saad in the Western Negev. Her friends told her that she always put her values first, was not afraid to face challenges and was an inspiration to her soldiers. During Black Sabbath, Henrietta was on a visit abroad but immediately returned and enlisted in the reserves.

A few days ago she had sinusitis which turned into a worsening infection. She was rushed to the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, but the infection kept getting worse until the doctors had to pronounce her dead yesterday. A family that came to Israel and was by her side during her hospitalization agreed to donate her organs for transplantation. Her parents are now sitting at the Kfar Maccabiah hotel. Her funeral will take place this Monday at 15:00 at Mount Herzl.
