A German man in his 60s is suspected of intending to sell fake immunization certificates against Corona, and an investigation opened against him has raised the suspicion that he was vaccinated 90 times to implement his plan. The same man aroused the suspicion of the authorities after he asked to be vaccinated in the same compound two days in a row.

The suspect, from the city of Magdeburg in eastern Germany, arrived a few days ago to get vaccinated at a compound in the town of Ilenburg, which is in the state of Saxony. The next day he came to the place again, arousing the suspicion of those present. Police officers who were called to the scene discovered empty immunization pads in the person but did not arrest him, but opened an investigation against him on suspicion that he had illegally issued immunization certificates and forged additional documents.

The investigation revealed that the suspect was vaccinated about 90 times – through vaccines from various companies – to issue the certificates. At this stage it is not clear what health effect such a large amount of vaccine doses has.

The suspect’s arrest joins a series of actions taken by German police against counterfeiters of immunization certificates in recent months. Vaccine opponents and many Corona deniers in the country refuse to be vaccinated, but to maintain their life routine try to get their hands on immunization permits that will allow them access to public space.
