5 foods to prevent prostate cancer

A healthy diet with green vegetables, beans, and fatty fish helps reduce the risk of prostate cancer and improve overall health.

Tomato

Tomatoes contain a large amount of lycopene. This is a powerful antioxidant that can reduce cell damage and prevent prostate cancer in men. When eaten raw, lycopene binds tightly to cell walls, making it difficult for the body to absorb. Cooked, pureed or juiced tomatoes are better.

Cruciferous vegetables

Cabbage, bok choy, kale, cauliflower… provide many antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Cruciferous vegetables contain sulforaphane, which can inhibit enzymes that cause prostate cancer. Broccoli adds glucoraphanin, an antioxidant compound that protects cells by reducing inflammation, neutralizing carcinogens, and controlling abnormal cell growth. Green tea

Kinds of bean

Beans contain isoflavones, a plant compound that has anti-inflammatory and hormone-regulating biological activity, helping to protect the body against prostate cancer. Soy products such as tofu, soy milk, and miso contain more isoflavones than mung beans, red beans, and lentils. Beans are also rich in plant-based protein and fiber, which can replace animal protein.

Pomegranate Juice

Pure pomegranate juice is high in antioxidants, which help inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells and prevent chronic diseases related to oxidative stress.

Fatty fish
