A week after giving birth for the seventh time, a 35-year-old woman who was rushed unconscious to the Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv has died, the hospital informed today (Monday). Upon her arrival at the hospital, she was treated with fluids and antibiotics and transferred to the pediatric intensive care unit for further treatment, but there her condition rapidly deteriorated. The doctors decided to euthanize her and gave her medication and support for heart and blood activity, and hours later she died.
“A laboratory investigation is still being conducted into the cause of death, the doctors suspect that it is a virulent bacterial infection,” the hospital said, “We wish to share in the family’s grief.”
