Undav replaces injured Füllkrug against Holland

Following the loss of injured striker Niclas Füllkrug, Deniz Undav will be in the national football team’s starting eleven for the first time. The 28-year-old attacker will be a new addition to the offensive line in his fourth international match this evening in Amsterdam against the Netherlands.

It is the only change that national coach Julian Nagelsmann has made compared to the 5-0 win against Hungary. Füllkrug is out with an Achilles tendon injury. The 31-year-old had already left the DFB team hotel in Amsterdam during the day.

In addition to Undav, Nagelsmann is once again relying on the trio of Jamal Musiala, Florian Wirtz and Kai Havertz, who worked so well together at the start of the Nations League against Hungary. The DFB team will once again be led by captain Joshua Kimmich. Marc-André ter Stegen will once again be in goal.

With another win and six points, the DFB selection would already take a step towards the quarter-finals of the Nations League.

The German starting eleven: ter Stegen – Kimmich, Tah, Schlotterbeck, Raum – Andrich, Groß – Wirtz, Havertz, Musiala – Undav
