Osimhen, Donnarumma, Yamal… Luis Campos takes stock of the PSG transfer window

Present in Porto for the Thinking Football Summit, a summit bringing together many football players, PSG sports advisor Luis Campos was asked about the Paris transfer window. A relatively quiet summer, with only Joao Neves (Benfica), Willian Pacho (Eintracht Frankfurt), Désiré Doué (Rennes) and Matvey Safonov (Krasnodar) signings. Above all, Paris did not recruit a striker to fill the free transfer window of Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid.

Victor Osimhen, on the way out of Naples and finally loaned to Galatasaray (Turkey) was nevertheless sounded out. “He was studied as one of the possibilities but we concluded that we were very satisfied with Gonçalo Ramos, Kolo Muani and Marco Asensio,” said Campos, who knew the Nigerian striker at Lille (2019-20). The Portuguese sports advisor also confirmed PSG’s intention to extend the contract of its goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who arrived in the summer of 2021 and whose lease ends in 2026.
