Germany is hosting a European Beach Volleyball Championship for the fifth time, most recently at the 2022 European Championships in Munich. This summer, the tournament was held in the Netherlands just a few days after the Paris Olympic Games. Müller/Tillmann won the final against the Italians Marta Menegatti and Valentina Gottardi. Wickler/Ehlers lost to the Latvians Martins Plavins and Kristians Fokerots.
