The Disciplinary Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) issued this Wednesday a three-match sanction of partial closure of its stands for the Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium, for the throwing of objects and incidents during the last derby on Sunday between Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid.
“The Disciplinary Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has made public this Wednesday the agreements reached in relation to matchday 8 of the First Division National Championship. Among them, reference is made to the events that occurred last Sunday, during the match played at the Civitas Metropolitano stadium between Club Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid CF. In its agreements, the Disciplinary Committee reflects the sanction of partial closure of the stadium for 3 games,” says the RFEF.
“In the minutes of the match, referee Mateo Busquets Ferrer reflects the temporary suspension of the match, in the 64th minute, when the protocol for throwing objects was applied and prior warnings of suspension were issued over the public address system on up to two occasions,” he adds.
