Mika Anttonen and Henrik Dettmann on the sidelines for the Olympic Committee’s pj game, heavy criticism from both

Speculation The candidates for the presidential election of the Olympic Committee at the end of the year are hot.

So far, Tapio Korjus, the only one to register for the presidential race, is a member of the Olympic Committee’s current board.

Apart from Korjus, no other candidates have appeared so far. Korjus has announced that he will retire from the position of principal of Kuortane sports college in the fall of 2025.

Korjus is currently the vice-chairman of the Olympic Committee and is specifically responsible for elite sports. The Olympic champion has sat in various sports policy cabinets throughout the 2000s.
