Leganés and Valencia forget the goal in Butarque

Leganés and Valencia signed a goalless draw this Friday at the start of the ninth day of LaLiga EA Sports, a match with few and last chances in Butarque that leaves both teams hanging on to the bottom of the table.

The ‘Lega’ signed their third draw in a row to stay on nine points, while the ‘che’ team will continue one more day in relegation places with six points. Both were looking for the second victory of the season and the locals were closer.

Borja Jiménez’s team had a ball hit the post by Óscar, who had just entered the field, already in stoppage time. The best and clearest opportunity to have taken three golden points and which deserved something more than a Valencia that barely played in the opposite field.

Neither team managed to bring danger to the rival goal in the first half. Juan Cruz guided the locals but once again they did not find Haller, just as the ‘che’ did not connect with Hugo Duro. A couple of errors at the start of the ‘pepineros’ gave Valencia its greater presence near the rival goal.
