Pogba’s doping disqualification reduced: from 4 years to 18 months

Sensational at the Tas. According to the Daily Mail, the Court of Arbitration for Sport has reduced the doping ban imposed on Paul Pogba from 4 years to 18 months. Which would mean that the French midfielder, stopped for testing positive for doping in September 2023, could return to wearing the Juventus shirt in March 2025 and resume normal competitive activity. The midfielder posted a photo on Instagram with his shoes and an hourglass underneath.

“The nightmare is finally over.” This is how Paul Pogba commented on the news in a statement. “I can’t wait to be able to chase my dreams again. It was an extremely distressing period in my career and my life”, added the 31-year-old Transalpine, playing for Juventus.

“Thank you all for the support. I can’t wait to get back,” said Pogba, who will be able to return to training in January next year. His return to the field, in official competitions, however, would take place, if everything is confirmed, in March 2025.
