FC Barcelona opens the process on Friday to request passes to attend the Spotify Camp Nou this season

FC Barcelona reported this Monday that next Friday, October 11, it will launch the process to request passes for the men’s first team matches that remain to be played during this season at the Spotify Camp Nou.

The Blaugrana club will put on sale a total of 45,000 passes to which all members subscribed to Spotify Camp Nou will be eligible, registering in advance in a form. Once the registration period has ended between next Friday and October 23, if there are more registered than seats available, a draw will be held on October 24, whose winners will have between October 28 and November 11 to formalize the purchase.

The 17,699 members who acquired a pass to go to the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium in the 2023-2024 season are exempt from this process, and will enjoy an exclusive purchase period of 72 hours, from October 25 to 27, without the need to prior request.

This provisional pass will give the right to access the official matches that remain to be played by the men’s first team at the Spotify Camp Nou this season and which, for the moment, include those corresponding to the second round of LaLiga EA Sports, as well as, in If applicable, those corresponding to the knockout phases of the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.

Once the process is completed, if there are passes available, registered members but who have not been selected in the draw will be able to purchase the remaining passes. As is the case at the Olympic Stadium, season pass holders will have guaranteed entry to all matches as long as they confirm attendance within the established deadlines and will be able to choose any area, regardless of the one they previously had as Spotify subscribers. Camp Nou.

In total, in this first phase of return, 45,000 passes will be on sale, which represents 85 percent of the regular Spotify Camp Nou seats, once the capacity for VIPs is excluded. These seats will be distributed throughout the grandstand, side, goal and corner areas of the first and second tier, since the third will still be under construction.

Prices range between 755 euros for a second-tier central stand pass and 260 euros for a first-tier goal pass. In the event that fewer matches are played at the Spotify Camp Nou than those provided for in the pass, the proportional amount would be returned, the club indicated.

As for the attendance model, it will be with a variable seat, as in the Lluís Companys Stadium, so the pass holder will choose the area, but not the seat, which will be chosen match by match and can be done in groups up to a maximum of six locations. The location of the seats will vary in each game but always within the area to which the pass corresponds.

In a press conference to explain these details, Elena Fort, vice president of the Institutional Area and head of ‘Espai Barça’, pointed out that there will only be 45,000 seats available, 40,000 in the Champions League for which they will be given to visiting fans, of the 62,000 that are available. They foresee for this return because they take into account “the entire part to be marketed.”

“I think we must understand that the club is in an important economic moment. The departure of the Olympic Stadium has meant stopping the income of approximately 100 million euros. We must find a balance and also be able to market this field because we need income,” he explained, recalling that The prices of the passes for members and subscribers are “absolutely affordable.”

The board also stressed that there will only be “a single draw” and that the Board of Directors has decided to do it this way “to avoid precisely these inequalities that could occur in match-by-match draws or match-by-match distributions.” “What we have done is the finals model, that is, those who get it will get it, and then they will have time to finalize the payment,” he explained.

“We know that this will mean, obviously, that there will be season ticket holders who will be left out. We accept it and from here I also want to give the message that we understand that this year the entire club must be attentive because we are not returning to a definitive stadium, and in In any case, these six months will be like this and next season we will see the model we will do,” he said.
