The best Croatian tennis player Donna Vekić advanced to the 2nd round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan, she overcame the Belgian with a turnaround 3-6, 6-1, 6-3 Elise Mertens.
In the first set according to Vekić was fatal was a bad service game, the 28-year-old Osje lost three out of four games on her opening shot. She failed to close the match on her opening shot, but at 5-3 she once again took away Mertens’ serve without losing a point.
