UFC fighter arrested for attacking Mackenzie Dern’s ex

UFC fighter, Antonio Trócoli was arrested last week in the United States for assault. The victim is the Brazilian surfer Wesley Santos ex-husband of his current wife, also an Ultimate fighter, Mackenzie Dern.

Trócoli was released after receiving a ticket, which must be paid on the day of the hearing, which has not yet been defined. The UFC fighter has a fight scheduled for November 9th, against Tresean Gore.

Mackenzie Dern had a messy divorce

Mackenzie Dern and Wesley Santos had a divorce marked by an exchange of accusations and a pension that made headlines on the main specialized websites. The American court ruled that custody of the ex-couple’s daughter would be shared and that the fighter would pay a pension of US$4,000 – around R$20,000 – monthly to the surfer for around a year and a half.

Mackenzie’s ex-husband has been involved in fights in the past

Surfer Wesley Santos had already been involved in a mess when he was still married to Mackenzie Dern. Four years ago, the Brazilian fell out with coach Juan Gomez, who was one of the UFC fighter’s coaches.

At the time, the athlete came to the surfer’s defense and ended up changing teams due to the confusion.

Mackenzie and Trócoli have commitments in the UFC

Antônio Trócoli and Mackenzie Dern have commitments scheduled at the end of the UFC season. The middleweight, who debuted with a defeat in the organization in June, faces American Tresean Gore, on November 9, in Las Vegas.

Brazilian-American Mackenzie Dern will have a rematch with Amanda Ribas from Minas Gerais on December 14th at UFC Tampa. In the first meeting between the two, Amanda won by unanimous decision from the referees.
