Sinner bullies Medvedev. In Saudi Arabia a mind-boggling prize pool

Jannik Sinner beat Danil Medvedev in just two sets with scores of 6-0 and 6-3 in one hour and eight minutes, and secured passage to the semi-final of the Six Kings Slam in Saudi Arabia. In the semifinals the world number one will meet Djokovic. The Six Kings Slam tournament does not assign scores but is an exhibition with a mind-blowing prize pool, the richest in history among six “stellar” tennis players: Sinner, Medvedev, Djokovic, Nadal, Alcaraz and Rune.

The exhibition tournament reserved for the big names will end with the final on Saturday 19th. The winner will receive a monstrous check of 6 million euros. It is not the first time that great tennis has landed in Saudi Arabia. Since last year, in fact, Saudi Arabia has hosted the Next Gen ATP Finals in Jeddah, inherited from Milan, a tournament in which the eight best under-21 tennis players compete.
