Neymar returns and Dorival watches; see when the next selection call is

The Brazilian team’s technical committee watched Neymar’s return on TV. But his call-up to defend Brazil on the next FIFA date is treated with caution.

Counting the 15 minutes of stoppage time, the star had half an hour on the field in Al Hilal’s victory over Al Ain, in the Asian Champions League.

He had a shot on goal, a pen and was harmed because the team had a player sent off moments after he entered, 30 minutes into the second half.

Coach Dorival Júnior is avoiding verdicts on Neymar at the moment. He knows that the player has a few more days of training ahead of him.

For registration reasons, he should only be listed again by Jorge Jesus in Al Hilal’s next match in the same Asian Champions League, on November 4, against Esteghlal, from Iran.

At the moment, the estimated date for the official announcement of the next call is November 1st. The CBF has not yet set the date. But one possibility is to include Neymar on the long list, as a precaution, and decide whether or not he will be present later.

The FIFA date starts on the 11th. The Brazilian team faces Venezuela and Uruguay in the World Cup qualifiers. The CBF maintains plans to see Neymar in loco before the next list is defined, but has not officially announced the trip. Promise to announce it if it actually happens.
