Cris Cyborg reveals new plans after “finishing the game” in MMA

The Curitiba Cris Cyborg39 years old, is very close to saying goodbye to MMA. The information was revealed by the athlete herself, after the gala victory over Larissa Pacheco from Pará, last Saturday, for the PFL, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The triumph earned the Curitiba native her fifth belt in her career. Previously, she had won titles in Strikeforce, Invicta, UFC and Bellator. “It’s a pleasure for me, I’m very grateful to be here. I’m very happy. I feel blessed, very grateful”, said Cris still in the PFL cage.

In the post-fight press conference, the champion revealed that her retirement is closer.

“I want to complete 20 years of career. This year is the 19th and I want to move on to the next chapter of my life and have a child. The next plan is to defend my title as quickly as possible”, declared Cris.

Cris Cyborg earned the highest salary of his PFL career

The featherweight belt of PFLwon by Curitiba Cris Cyborg last Saturday (19), gave her not only the title in the fifth league of MMA different, but also the biggest salary of his long career: US$ 1 million (R$ 5.7 million, at current prices).

Cyborg, who defeated her compatriot Larissa Pacheco by unanimous decision in Saudi Arabia, he also increased the total payment with a performance bonus of US$ 750 mil (R$4.2 million). In total, the 39-year-old athlete pocketed a gross amount of R$9.9 million.

Over his 19-year career, Cris Cyborg has a record of 31 fights. There are 28 victories, two defeats and one fight without result.
