This Thursday, the Morocco Pavilion at Expo92 in Seville was the scene of the induction ceremony of the 4th Promotion of the Spanish Basketball Hall of Fame, the project of the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) and the newspaper ‘As’ with the that recognizes and remembers the most outstanding figures in the history of this sport.

In this edition, the protagonists were seven players, a coach, a referee, the world champion men’s under-19 team and a contributor. They were all applauded by the almost 300 guests, including family members and institutional representatives, especially the Junta de Andalucía as the main sponsor; At the head was José María Arrabal, its Secretary General of Sports.

Alfredo Bustillo represented CaixaBank as an official sponsor, by virtue of being its director of Brand Sponsorships and Corporate Image, during a gala presented by Marta Fernández and Pacojó Delgado and which was opened with speeches by the president of the FEB, Elisa Aguilar, and the director from the newspaper ‘As’, Vicente Jiménez.

In the National Players category, Marc Gasol, Jorge Garbajosa, Wayne Brabender, Elisabeth Cebrián and Marina Ferragut entered this Hall of Fame, while Audie Norris did so in the International category and the late Drazen Petrovic in the In Memoriam category. In addition, Moncho Monsalve was recognized among the coaches, while Pilar Landeira was recognized in the refereeing category and journalist Antoni Daimiel was decorated for his contribution as a contributor.
