Alpine Ski World Cup: at what time and on which channel to see the men’s and women’s Giant of Sölden?

Alpine skiing makes a comeback this weekend with the traditional stage in Sölden, Austria. Participants will start with a Giant, scheduled for Saturday 26 for women and Sunday 27 for men.

Last season, Switzerland’s Marco Odermatt dominated the World Cup. The 27-year-old had 13 victories after 35 races and a lead of almost 900 points over his runner-up in the general classification: his compatriot Loïc Meillard. But he also won the small globe of the Giant with 9 victories in 10 races.

Among the women, the Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami won the specialty ranking, ahead of the Italian Federica Brignone by a hair. Like Marco Odermatt, she also finished in first position in the general classification and snatched the big crystal globe.

Lara Gut-Behrami also won the Sölden Giant a year ago. For the men, the race was canceled due to weather conditions.

The Sölden Giant women’s race takes place this Saturday, October 26, the first round will be broadcast at 9:30 a.m. on Eurosport 1 and the second at 12:30 p.m. The men’s race will take place on Sunday 27, the first round will be broadcast at 9:30 a.m. on Eurosport 1 and the second at 12:30 p.m.
