Reus has a successful start to the playoffs with LA Galaxy

Former Dortmund player Marco Reus clearly won the first playoff game in Major League Soccer with the LA Galaxy. The former national player’s team won against the Colorado Rapids 5-0 (1-0) and still needs one win to reach the semi-finals of the Western Conference. Reus came on as a substitute in the 68th minute.

Former Frankfurt Bundesliga professional Dejan Joveljic gave the main round runner-up from the West the lead after 32 minutes. John Nelson (52nd) and Riqui Puig increased the score to 3-0 just two minutes later after the break. Again Joveljic (75th) and Puig (87th) made the final score 5-0.

The second of three possible games will take place on Friday (local time) in Colorado. A possible playoff will take place again on November 9th at the LA Galaxy stadium.
