Santi Aldama commands the victory of the Grizzlies against Orlando

The Canarian power forward Santi Aldama, the only Spanish representative in this 2024-2025 NBA season, shone this morning in the Memphis Grizzlies’ victory over the Orlando Magic (124-111), a duel with which he left behind his modest performance from the night before.

At the FedExForum in Memphis, the Tennessee team sealed their second victory of the campaign, after losing in Friday’s duel against the Houston Rockets (128-108). With this, they have a positive balance of 2-1 at this start of the season.

Aldama, who returned to the bench due to the recovery of Jaren Jackson Jr., took advantage of his 27 minutes on the court to become his team’s top scorer with 22 points – 9 of 12 field goals, including 4 of 6 triples – and in the second of the match, only behind the Magic’s German forward Franz Wagner (23).

Furthermore, the one from Las Palmas, who had only managed to contribute two points in the duel against the Rockets, also captured seven rebounds, distributed five assists and put up a block.
