Premiere goal for ÖFB team players in the German Bundesliga

SC Freiburg couldn’t get past a goalless draw against FSV Mainz in the German Bundesliga on Sunday. The Freiburgers with the ÖFB team players Philipp Lienhart, Junior Adamu and Michael Gregoritsch missed the jump to third place in the table and are level on points with defending champions Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund in sixth.

Mönchengladbach defeated Werder Bremen 4-1, “Joker” Kevin Stöger scored for Borussia for the first time. Lienhart was involved in defense until the 66th minute. The Breisgauers are seven points behind leaders Bayern Munich, but only one behind third-placed Frankfurt. The Mainz team defended themselves cleverly Phillip Mwene in use over the full distance. Nikolas Veratschnig made his second league appearance in the finish.
