Athletics: Maria Huntington was appalled by Lotta Harala’s treatment

Former septuagenarian Maria Huntington wondered in the strongest terms that Reetta Hurske was chosen Lotta Haralan instead of sprinter of the year at the Finnish Athletics Federation’s Athletics Gala on Friday.

“I rarely get angry, but you just can’t keep quiet about this,” the former seventh grader Maria Huntington began his feedback Instagram- in the stories section of their account.

“That’s why it’s incredible that Lotta isn’t the best female sprinter/hurdle runner of the year this year, frankly incomprehensible.”

Harala ran a SE score of 12.65 in July in Switzerland. The previous Finnish record was 12.68 run by Hurskee in June.

In addition to a new personal record, the highlight of Hurske’s season was sixth place at the European Championships in Rome. At the Paris Olympics, he narrowly qualified for the semi-finals.
