Vinícius Júnior’s behavior puzzled: “It can’t work like that”

Vinícius Júnior was involved in the good and the bad when Real Madrid lost in the Champions League.

Real Madrid star player Vinícius Junior missed out on the world’s best player award last week, and Tuesday’s action on the field drew criticism from experts.

Real caused a minor stir last week. Sidelining Vinícius in the Golden Ball selection was too much and the club boycotted the entire award gala.

On Tuesday, the team faced Italy’s AC Milan in front of their home fans, and the Champions League anthem sparked a concert of whistles. It was interpreted as a fan protest against the European Football Association UEFA for the treatment of Vinícius.

On the field, the Brazilian was involved in good and bad.

Vinícius finished the team’s 1-1 tie from the penalty kick in the 23rd minute. A quarter of an hour later, he was gesticulating with his hands and didn’t even try to take the ball back, when Aurélien Tchouaménin the input did not arrive.

A few seconds later Alvaro Morata put the visitors back in the lead. AC Milan finally won with goals 3–1.

“Vinícius Júnior worked really poorly on the way home,” Viaplay’s expert Fredrik Ljunberg scolded Aftonbladet by.

Ljungberg’s colleague shared the same opinion Erik Niva.

“That’s clearly demonstrative, that he doesn’t even care about the situation. You can’t act like that, even if you think you deserve the Ballon d’Or,” Niva stated.

Both Real and AC Milan have two wins and two losses in their account after four matches.
