Las Palmas defeats an inoperative Rayo in Vallecas

However, the Rayistas were lacking in aim and to make matters worse they found themselves 0-2 down in the 62nd minute, when Aridane Hernández headed another corner taken by Sandro towards his goal. Five minutes later, Las Palmas sealed the score thanks to Manu Fuster’s beautiful 0-3 with a shot with the outside of his right boot and from the balcony of the area.

Despite the local efforts in stoppage time, making it 1-3 thanks to an own goal by Scott McKenna deflecting a low center from Jorge de Frutos, the defeat was consummated in Vallecas. Jaime Mata and McKenna himself touched the fourth visitor’s goal, without luck but without regret for now adding 12 points; Meanwhile, Rayo continues with 16 units.
