Marco Giampaolo is the new coach of Lecce

The signature has arrived: Marco Giampaolo is officially the new coach of Lecce. The hiring of the 57-year-old coach who “has signed an agreement until 30 June 2025, with automatic renewal if he is saved” is official. Giampaolo, who takes the place of the sacked Gotti, will have on his staff the deputy Francesco Conti, the technical collaborator Fabio Micarelli, the athletic trainer Samuele Melotto and the match analyst Alcide Di Salvatore; confirmed Giovanni De Luca (athletic trainer for the recovery of injured players), the goalkeeper trainers Raffaele Clemente and Luigi Sassanelli and the match analyst Simone Greco.

 

Giampaolo will lead his first training session tomorrow afternoon at the “Via del Mare”, with the presentation to the press at 10am, again at the stadium, in the company of the president Saverio Sticchi Damiani, the head of the technical area Pantaleo Corvino and the sporting director Stefano Trinchera.
