Dinamo immediately renounced him: Tomačić violated the Law on Sports, he was not even allowed to become a member of the board!

On Thursday, at the 11th session of the executive board, Dinamo dismissed him Danijela Tomačića (45) from the position of č member of the administration. And gave him immediate dismissal. Tomačić arrived at Maksimirska 128 as part of the “old government”, even before the first democratic elections in the history of the club. He was pushed into the administration by a former IO member Nikola Hanžel who at that time figured as one of the most powerful people in the Zagreb club.

Tomačić signed a contract on March 11, 2023 as a member of the Dinamo board, and from that day (until yesterday’s dismissal) violated the Law on Sports, which entered into force on January 1, 2023. The man worked unhindered (without any knowledge of the club) as a member of the Dinamo board and as a delegate at football matches!? In the last year before signing the contract as a new member of the Dinamo board (which he signed on August 11, 2023), he was not allowed to be a delegate at any official match. And in that period, between March 11, 2022 and March 11, 2023, Tomačić was a delegate at č as many as 57 matches!? Pioneers, young pioneers, seniors… everything. Inadmissible.

In the Law on Sports, under “Obstacles to organizing and conducting sports competitions” under Article 115, it is stated:

– Referee in football, basketball, handball, volleyball and water polo or a person who in the last year participated in the organization and management of a sports competition in that sport cannot be – a member of the governing body of a sports club.

Before that, the same Law on Sports, in Article 25, which explains who are the official persons participating in the organization and management of a sports competition, states:

– The official persons who participate in the organization and management of the sports competition are the sports referee, sports delegate sports commissioner or other persons determined by the general act of the national sports federation.

The former member of the board signed the contract, which made him a member of the board Dynamo violated the mandatory provision of the Law on Sports, which entails the nullity of the contract itself. And the ball is now in the hands of the Zagreb club, so no one would be surprised if the “blue” requested through the courts the return of all the salaries that the affected person received in Dinamo from March 11, 2023.
