Teemu Pukki sneered at the songs aimed at Markku Kanervaa – “We are guilty”

Teemu Pukki took a stand on the criticism and talked about the continuation of his A national team career.

Finland–Greece 0–2

Finland fanipääty Pohjoikaarre again on Sunday let Huuhkajie’s managers hear their praises. The chairman of the Balloliitto got his part with songs Ari Lahti like a head coach Markku Kanervak.

Huhkaji players are not immune to a situation where the team’s coaching receives constant criticism.

“It doesn’t feel good. We, the players, are the ones who make a mess on the field – and we are to blame,” the striker Teemu Pukki said on Sunday night after the Greece defeat.

Finland lost all six matches in the Nations League this year.

“We are at the bottom of time. Can’t think of anything positive now. I feel like I’m not getting results. A difficult situation.”

It was difficult for Puki to come up with any single reason for Finland’s miserable result streak.

“Had you known, there would probably have been good results.”

With 42 hits, Pukki is the all-time top scorer of the Finnish A national team. He will turn 35 next spring when the World Cup qualifiers begin, but assured that he can still find power in the Suomi shirt.

“I don’t want to end this losing streak. The whole season has been difficult for me, but I feel like I still have something to give,” Pukki said.

Tusk also shone from the faces of other Finnish players. Robin Lod played the end of the Greece match as captain. The loss hurt deeply.

“Very disappointing. This has been a difficult autumn. This Greece game didn’t improve it. On the contrary,” Lod said.

Greece’s Kostas Tsimikas (left) took the ball from Huuhkaji’s Robin Lodi on Sunday.

In connection with the Finnish team, there has been talk about the game process. Disappointed Lod didn’t explain anything with the “process”.

“We have had six games to improve our playing. It has seemed really difficult, when nothing has actually been successful,” said Lod.

In the Greek match Played as Finland’s goalkeeper Jesse Joronen hoped that there would be enough patience in and around the team.

“Of course we are always disappointed after a defeat. Everyone must be able to improve, both in the club and national team,” he said.

According to Jorone, we are now trying to develop things that will bear fruit in the future. He underlined that development takes time.

Even the goalkeeper didn’t try to claim that there was somehow a promising period going on.

“We need tough men in these tough times,” he said.
