The German national soccer team starts the next international year with an away game on March 20, 2025. As UEFA announced in the schedule for the quarter-final draw, all four first legs of the first knockout round in the Nations League will take place on that day. The second leg will take place three days later, on March 23rd, in which Germany, as group winners, will then have home advantage.
Who the DFB team has to play against will be decided on Friday (12 p.m.) in the draw at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon. Possible opponents are Italy as well as either Croatia or Scotland and Denmark or Serbia, who will play their last group games in the evening. Germany will play its last game of the year against Hungary on Tuesday (8:45 p.m./ZDF) in Budapest.
The semi-final pairings of the Nations League, which will take place on June 4th and 5th, will also be drawn on Friday. The winner will be chosen on June 8th. The host for the mini-tournament will be announced by UEFA soon. The DFB had expressed interest.
