Antti Tuisku ran a wild Cooper record

The ex-artist, who is aiming for the WC tracks, flashed his tough endurance condition in Spain.

To the ski season getting ready Antti Tuisku says that he ran his new record in Cooper’s test. The former artist revealed his recent result on Instagram.

The update of Tuisku, who is camping in Spain, reveals that he ran 3,384 meters in 12 minutes.

“At the end of the camp, a semi-extempore Cooper’s test with heavy legs. A record despite that,” Tuisku writes.

Tuisku’s previous record was reportedly 3,250 meters, which he ran in 2020. He told in 2022.

Tuisku, 40, ran the test in Torrevieja, where he also lives today.

In the first picture of the update, Tuisku is holding a lactate meter. In the accompanying text, he says that the meter shows a reading of 12.1 mmol/l.

The lactate meter measures the amount of lactate produced by the muscles, which can be used to monitor the body’s oxygen consumption and level of exertion.

At the beginning Tuisku, which is aiming for the WC skiing season, has stated that its goal is to reach the speed of Finland’s toughest female skiers on the slopes by April’s WC skiing in Taivalkoski.

Before that, he will participate in the WC in January in Imatra. There, he is participating in a 10-kilometer traditional skiing competition.

Tuisku also participates in the domestic skiing competitions with its own skiing club AT Ski Team, which only includes female skiers.
