Zagreb handball players fought after the defeat in the Champions League

Zagreb handball players lost to Nantes (25-22) in the eighth round of the Champions League on Wednesday night, and the match also had a third half. Namely, as the club reported, the player Zvonimir Srna, who did not play due to injury, and Miloš Kos fought after the game. The conflict was caused by a Serbian handball player, and both players were temporarily suspended.

Hereby, we would like to inform you that the Disciplinary Committee of the handball club Zagreb made a decision on the temporary suspension of handball players Miloš Kos and Zvonimir Srna due to the physical conflict caused by Kos after yesterday’s match against HBC Nantes in Arena Zagreb. The temporary suspension remains in force until the end of the procedure that will be led by the Disciplinary Committee of the Zagreb Handball Club. Handball club Zagreb will not tolerate any unprofessional behavior and will fully cooperate with the Disciplinary Committee in order to clarify the situation as soon as possible. Until the end of the disciplinary procedure, handball club Zagreb cannot comment on the situation, so we ask the media for their understanding. The club will inform the public in a timely manner with more information when all the facts are established.
