Big reinforcement for Cibona: Šamanić open contract

Luka Shamanić (24) agreed with Cybonoma and on Friday he should make his debut in the Croatian championship against Split. Shamansć has been training with Cibona for the last few weeks, with whom he agreed an open contract, i.e. a free hand if an offer arrives at his address that he cannot refuse.

The tall native of Zagreb (211 cm) will in any case be of great help to Krasi’s team, in any number of games. In the spring, he left the NBA league in which he played a total of 86 games in the jersey of San Antonio and the Utah Jazz since 2019.

He returned to Europe, signed for Fenerbahçe, but left Istanbul after a month without playing a game. After seven months, he played for the Croatian national team, i.e. made his debut.
