Football speaks Arabic.. Morocco will host the 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal, and Saudi Arabia will host the 2034 edition

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced on Wednesday that the joint bid of the countries of Morocco, Spain and Portugal won the right to host the 2030 World Cup, and Saudi Arabia’s bid for the 2034 edition. Football will have an Arab flavor for 8 years, with Morocco and Saudi Arabia historically hosting the major global event. On Wednesday, the 211 participating national federations approved, with video applause, the individual nominations of the two files, during a virtual general assembly led by FIFA President Gianni Infantino. There was no competition for the two bids, after several withdrawals for the 2030 edition and Saudi Arabia’s bid remaining alone to host the 2034 edition. The “Centenary World Cup” will celebrate a century since the start of the first World Cup in 1930 in the capital.
