The Los Angeles Rams secured an important away win in the North American American professional football league NFL. The team around quarterback Matthew Stafford won 12:6 against the struggling San Francisco 49ers. All points were scored through field goals.
In an uneventful first half, kicker Jake Moody gave the 49ers the lead from 53 yards in the first quarter before Rams’ Joshua Karty equalized from 48 yards shortly before halftime to make it 3-3. San Francisco was unable to maintain Moody’s renewed lead in the third quarter. Above all, Stafford (160 passing yards), running back Kyren Williams (108 yards) and wide receiver Puka Nacua (97 yards) ensured that Los Angeles came close to the field goal three more times in the fourth quarter.
With a record of 8:6, the Rams still have playoff participation in their own hands. The 49ers’ chances (6:8), however, are only theoretical.
