The match
Balanced start, with both teams short and careful in defense. Ball possession becomes fundamental to try to open spaces in the opposing defense, with Fiorentina relying on Gudmundssonreturning to the starting lineup after the injury, to manage his offensive maneuver. The first opportunity, however, belongs to Bologna: Ndoye cuts the field and serves Dominguezwho shoots around but is saved by De Gea.
