Former Flamengo, Rodrigo Muniz scores decisive goal against Chelsea

This was the striker’s third goal of the 2024/2025 season. Last season, Muniz had already stood out in the Fulham shirt, scoring ten goals in 33 matches. The Brazilian was signed by the English club in 2021.

Revealed at Flamengo’s base, Rodrigo Muniz had a lightning strike for Coritiba in 2020. He played just six matches and scored one goal. At the time, he ended up having to return to Flamengo, his home club, at the request of Fla’s then coach, Rogério Ceni.

In the current season, the striker even aroused the interest of giants of English football, such as Chelsea and Tottenham. The player was also in the sights of Brazilian clubs, such as Grêmio and Atlético-MG.
