Football: FC Barcelona’s solution to replenish its accounts and avoid losing Dani Olmo

But, according to the daily newspapers Marca and Mundo Deportivo, Barça and its president Joan Laporta are in the process of concluding an agreement worth 100 million euros with various organizations in the United Arab Emirates. The objective: to sell the operation of the management of VIP seats at its future stadium, the Spotify Camp Nou, whose delivery is scheduled around February 2025. For Mundo Deportivo, the agreement has not yet been signed. However, this should be the case during the weekend.

A clause to leave free

FC Barcelona had taken legal action to be able to register its flagship recruit of the summer because La Liga had refused to do so, arguing that the club exceeded the limit of what it was authorized to spend on salary given its income. The club, in debt, had registered Olmo until December 31 with 80% of the salary of injured defender Andreas Christensen thanks to an exception allowing clubs to replace players absent for a long period.

Spaniard Dani Olmo is on contract until 2030, but a clause allows him to leave Barça if his club fails to register him in the league.
