The best Croatian female skier Zrinka Angryć (20) ended a great year in a spectacular way. In the slalom in Semmering, after the first race, she took first place, and in the second race, she not only defended her advantage, but further increased it and achieved her first victory in her senior skiing career.
It is also the first victory of a Croatian skier after 2006, when Janica Churches celebrated in the giant slalom in Are, Sweden. Zrinka returned to Zagreb on Monday, and today, after her great success, she stood in front of the journalists and described the impressions she experienced after the victory.
– It’s still a nice feeling, even after two days. On the day of the race, right after it was over, it still hadn’t crossed my mind. I was full of adrenaline and excited, so I didn’t even realize how much of an advantage I had. On Monday, I watched the race in peace and was impressed.
