Ligue 1: broadcaster DAZN launches a new offer of 69 euros for the end of the season

DAZN continues to slash prices to attract new subscribers. From this Friday, January 3 and until February 3, the official broadcaster of Ligue 1 (8 out of 9 matches per day) is offering an offer of 69 euros to afford the entire second part of the championship season. An offer of 13.80 euros per month until the end of May, with Ligue 1 ending on May 18. This subscription at 69 euros, however, allows you to have DAZN until the end of July, or 9.85 euros per month. Knowing that the FIFA Club World Cup, broadcast on DAZN, will be unencrypted and free.

When it was launched, DAZN offered a subscription with a twelve-month commitment at 29.99 euros. It then rose to 19.99 euros at the end of October. Finally, during Black Friday, an offer of 14.99 euros per month was offered.

As a reminder, if DAZN does not reach the milestone of 1.5 million subscribers, the broadcaster and the Professional Football League (LFP) will have to decide, on December 1, whether or not to activate the exit clause. of the Ligue 1 broadcast contract for the period 2024-2029 at the end of next season. For the LFP, it will then be necessary to renegotiate with a new broadcaster. Today, DAZN’s exact subscriber count is unknown. It would exceed 500,000 according to several sources.
