Dinamo won Cibona! The ‘Wolves’ spilled a 19 point difference, then lost the game in overtime

In the match of the 15th round of the Croatian basketball championship Dinamo is in KC Dražen Petrović won after extra time Cibona on 91-90. Cibona started the match better, however, Dinamo won the first leg with 19-18. In the second čquarter, Cibona absolutely dominated, on two occasions it led with 19 points (38-19, 44-25), and went to halftime with +11 (46-35). Dinamo’s comeback followed in the third quarter, Damir Mulaomerova’s team reduced the deficit to two baskets (62-64), and 4:33 before the end of the game took the lead 74-72.

Cibona’s series followed and in the last minute Sesar’s team entered with +6 (83-77). Dinamo equalized with two three-pointers, and Cibona had 20 seconds left to win, however Sven Smajlagić missed the shot with the sound of the siren.

It was also uncertain in overtime, two minutes before the end Dinamo had a basket in excess (89-88), Cibona regained the lead, so that Karlo Mikšić 20 seconds before the end he scored for Dinamo’s 91-90. The “Wolves” again had 20 seconds left to win, but two seconds before the end Ivan Majcunić missed the three-pointer.

Dinamo was led by Filip Kraljević with 19 points and seven rebounds, Ivan Novačić with 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Filip Paponya i David King with 13 baskets each. Domagoj were the most effective at Cibona VukovćIvan Majcunić and Sven Smajlagić with 16 baskets each.

Zadar is at the top of the ranking with 27 points (13 wins and one loss), Cedevita is second with 24 points (10-4), and Cibona is also third, with 24 points (9-6). Split follows with 23 points (10-3), and Dinamo is fifth with 22 points (7-8).
