Coritiba “announced” the signing of the striker Neymar on its official website this Friday night (3). But calm down, fan. The “hiring” was done by a hackerwho invaded the Cox-Branca web address. The ace of Al-Hilalfrom Saudi Arabia, of course, did not sign a pre-contract to defend Coxa.
The ad was on air for almost an hour. The hacker even prepared a complete statement about the star’s hiring. The false text published highlighted that the Brazilian player would join Coxa after the end of his relationship with Al-Hilal, in May 2025. Furthermore, it contained statements attributed to the CEO alviverde, Gabriel Lima.
Then, at around 10:15 pm, the site crashed and was offline with the hacker’s identification and the phrase: “coxa serie b gerar” (sic). Minutes later, the address was completely taken down.
The hacker’s code would be the same that was used in the invasion of the Fluminensewho announced the signing of striker Haalandfrom Manchester City, in May last year.
In contact with UmDois Esportes, Coritiba’s advisors confirmed that it was an invasion of the official website.
