Da Silva leads Orlando Magic to victory with career-high

Tristan da Silva led the Orlando Magic to their next victory in the North American professional basketball league NBA. In the 106:97 win against the Toronto Raptors, the German rookie contributed 25 points, setting a new career high. The 23-year-old also had four rebounds and two assists.

“I know that I put the ball in his hands and make him make sometimes difficult decisions, which he is capable of doing again. “He’s ready to take on any challenges,” Magic coach Jamahl Mosley said after the game.

Despite the injuries to star players Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner as well as Moritz Wagner as the most important bench player, Orlando holds fourth place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 21:15.

Hartenstein celebrates 14th win in a row with Thunder

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have extended their own club record. Isaiah Hartenstein’s team won against his former club New York Knicks 117:107 and celebrated their 14th win in a row. It was only the fourth game in NBA history in which two teams with a winning streak of nine or more games met.

Hartenstein only scored four points as a starter, but recorded a strong 14 rebounds and seven assists. Led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (33 points), the Thunder turned the game decisively in their favor in the fourth quarter and remain undisputed first in the Western Conference with 29 wins.

Dallas loses without Doncic and Irving

Without Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, the Dallas Mavericks lost their fourth game in a row. The Texans led by Maxi Kleber lost 122:134 to the top team in the East, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Kleber had two points, four rebounds and one assist in just under 16 minutes of playing time. Despite the losing streak, the sixth-placed Mavericks in the West are still on course for the playoffs.
