Fernandinho was forced to say goodbye to Athletico

Fernandinho left the Athletico. In one message, he he simply thanked the fans for the hug and swore an eternal bond with Furacão. His desire was to stay, but, ignored, without offering any reason, he said goodbye.

I wanted to write about Fernandinho’s goodbye, but I can’t. It’s just that life taught me that there’s no way to believe in goodbye without a reason. As in Chico’s poetry: “When you looked into my eyes/And your look was goodbye/I swear I didn’t believe it, I found you strange” (Behind the door).

I could respond that Fernandinho is not a Second Division player. Perhaps this was the feeling of the star, who kept it out of respect for the fans. And, Petraglia and Lara could claim the reason why the Segundona players are Léo Pelé, Leozinho and Jacaré.

I could answer that no matter how compromising Fernandinho was to reduce his salary, it would still be expensive for a Second Division team.

But, won’t it be expensive to invest R$20 million in Léo Pelé, for bond rights, salaries, image rights, social charges and agency?

The final truth: Athletico, with Petraglia and Lara, does not deserve Fernandinho.
