TTC Berlin Eastside achieves the title hat trick

The table tennis players from TTC Berlin Eastside achieved a hat trick in the cup. The team around the German Olympic participants Nina Mittelham and Shan Xiaona secured the title in the final against SV DJK Kolbermoor with young hopeful Annett Kaufmann 3-0.

Xiaona won the decisive singles against the 18-year-old Kaufmann in five sets thanks to a strong comeback. The two players on the team came fourth at the Olympics in Paris last year.

In the semifinals, Eastside defeated TTC 1946 Weinheim (3:1). The Berliners had already met Kolbermoor in the final last year.
